MAC's LE Close 2 Real Lipstick

For me this is THE nude to have in your make-up bag, it's perfect and I'm so disappointed it's no longer produced. Nude lips can be paired with most looks, the trend pays homage to Sixties Icons who founded nude lips. To really emphasise the lip shape and fullness I suggest pairing it with a nude/peach lipgloss, my personal suggestion is Avon's Arabian Glow Nude gloss.

Shady Lady: Studio Fix Fluid NW20

Yes, when I'm not tan my natural skin tone is an unsightly pale NW20, I love their SFF foundation as a little goes a long way. It blends to perfection leaving pores refined and a smooth matte finish on the skin. It isn't too greasy and doesn't leave residue like some foundations do. It lasts approximately 10 hours for me before touch-ups are required and contains SPF 15.

Warm Soul Mineralize Blush

This blush is just LOVE, especially in Winter and Fall, but I tend to use it all year round. It is a very warm rose colour with subtle hints of gold. It definitely adds a warm glow to your face so if you're a similar foundation shade to me I highly recommend trying this out.

Rihanna In Vogue

Rihanna was so excited to be shooting her first Vogue cover with Annie Leibovitz that she tweeted "Just wrapped my first American Vogue cover shoot with Annie Leibovitz ... Rah! #SEXY." Now finally the moment all us fans have been waiting for, the cover is unveiled:

RiRi looks totally glam with side swept hair and a nude embellished dress.

Maintain that Mani!

We all love a good mani/pedi but have you ever noticed after just one day there's a little chip? Yes... follow these fabulous tips to maintain that mani!!

* Keep nail polish in the bottle away from heat - it changes the consistency so it won't stick well.

* Before you start, make sure nails are completely clean and dry. Clean with soap on an old toothbrush, dry, then give them a quick swipe with nail polish remover. Don't soak your fingertips - salons do this to make you feel pampered but the moisture expands nails and, when they dry out, the movement helps cause cracks and chips.

* Don't skip the base coat, it's not just a clear polish, but is specially formulated to give your varnish a surface to grip on to.

* Apply two or three thin coats of polish, allowing each two minutes to dry.


* Finish with top coat for extra protection, If you can, add another layer of top coat each day.

* Apply base, polish and top coat along the edge of each nail that you file. Be careful not to go on to the underside of your nail. Coating the edges protects the most vulnerable part of your nail and can double the life of your manicure.

Rihanna recently celebrated the launch of her first fragrance 'Reb'l Fleur' at Macy's in Lakewood, California on February 18th. She looked stunning in nude heels and gorgeous detailed mini, both by Prada. This weekend her parents were out in force at the Main Mall in Barbados to promote Reb'l Fleur. The fragrance is available at selected online retailers - I for one am super excited about it's UK release!
