SAG Awards

Hello beauts,

Hope you all had a lovely weekend and were busy watching the drama filled Kourtney & Kim Take New York which aired last night in the States.

In the meantime though, some of our favourite A-Listers were gracing the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Yet again another excuse for us to ooh and aah over the best part; their outfits.

Mila Kunis in a gorgeous Alexander McQueen dress.

'Desperate Housewives' star Eva Longoria in a revealing, cut-away floor-sweeping gown.

For her turn on the red carpet Kim Kardashian wore this beautiful gown by British designer Marchesa and swapped her usual tousled tresses for a fake bob using hair extensions to add volume and added oomph, she looked effortlessly stylish and chic. Her favourite hair pieces – BeautyWorksOnline.com Delux Instant Clip-Ins in Raven 2, £89 – were the perfect match to her hair colour. You can create your own fake bob with some clever tucking and pinning underneath, and a few pieces pulled loose round the face for softness.

Hope you all have a great week!!

Style Steal: Kim Kardashian

Hey loves,

As many of you are probably aware I'm a huge Kardashian fan, so I squeeled with excitement when I heard Kourtney & Kim Take New York was premiered in America on Sunday and sat in amazement as I watched them hit the Big Apple, my home away from home.

In the episode newly single Kim was seen hitting Lex Bar in the city's Murray Hill district with pint sized Kourtney in tow. With a natural flair for fashion this hot chick looked effortlessly stylish in a Matthew Williamson monotone dress and thigh high boots.

I've trailed the internet to find you a gorgeous and affordable number that I'm sure you'll love from up and coming hip Liverpool boutique Beau Butterfly which can also be found on Facebook.

This black and white studded Aztec dress is just £34.99!!

and paired with this gorgeous feathered cape also Beau Butterfly (£14.99) you'll instantly have that Kardashian glamour!!

Golden Globes 2011 - Gorgeous Gowns & Glam Gals!

Hey loves,

Everyone knows that the best part of any awards show is the star studded red carpet, and there is perhaps no carpet that brings out more A-List players than the Golden Globes!

Below I have chosen a few of my favourite dresses to have graced the red carpet this year...

Kim Kardashian was in attendance at the InStyle/Warner Bros. after-party and paired her strapless Nina Ricci gown with Christian Louboutin heels and Lorraine Schwartz jewellery.

Sofia Vergara, this scarlet Vera Wang dress complemented the Modern Family star's curves perfectly.

Eva Longoria wore a black Zac Posen gown with a generous train.

Maria Menounos was the star of the show in this stunning gown.

Jennifer Lopez wore a Zuhair Murad design with an attached cape, a Swarovski evening clutch and Harry Winston earrings.

Olivia Wilde went shimmery in full-skirted chocolate Marchesa.

Carrie Underwood wore a sparkling Badgley Mischka Couture gown and carried a Swarovski clutch.

Who was best dressed in your opinion?

Rihanna's Hair

Hey dolls,

I've always been such a HUGE fan of Rihanna right from her music to her ever changing hair. This is a girl after my own heart, never one to fear switching up her style she looks fierce 24/7.

This Bajan beauty has it all. So here's a quick look back at her locks over the years, images courtesy of the Daily Mail.

and now her latest, a red mane, totally stunning and effortlessly stylish:

Recessionista vs Fashionista

Hey loves,

Now that there's been a huge hike in taxes it's time to watch those pennies. I've decided to try out some supermarket brands and drug store products in favour of some of our favourite brand products and have to admit I am slightly shocked by the quality of the products... they're actually AMAZING!!

I wanted to trial different products so this week it's my top 3 budget skin care finds:

Topping the list is of course the well know St Moriz 'dark' mousse -
200ml RRP £2.99 from Home Bargains, Quality Save, B&M and other stockists nationwide.

This product was very easy to apply and left me with a gorgeous glow the following morning. The only downside is I did break out three times. On average each bottle lasts approximately 4-5 full body tans.

Whilst perusing the aisles of Tesco this big beauty popped out at me, I'm a sucker for anything sweet and just love cocoa butter scented products so at £1.30 for 400ml it was an absolute bargain, the lotion has a creamy hydrating consistency and isn't too watery or thick like other cheap body lotions. Your skin stays lightly scented all day, I will definitely be re-purchasing.

... Last but not least, is this fabulous moisturiser priced at just £1.99 for 100ml from Morrisons, my skin is oily-combination and I do get the odd breakout every now and again. My skin has never been smoother. It has a subtle tea tree scent and quite a thick consistency.

Thanks for reading, and let me know if you've found any great products.

Hannah xoxo
