MAC's LE Close 2 Real Lipstick

For me this is THE nude to have in your make-up bag, it's perfect and I'm so disappointed it's no longer produced. Nude lips can be paired with most looks, the trend pays homage to Sixties Icons who founded nude lips. To really emphasise the lip shape and fullness I suggest pairing it with a nude/peach lipgloss, my personal suggestion is Avon's Arabian Glow Nude gloss.

Shady Lady: Studio Fix Fluid NW20

Yes, when I'm not tan my natural skin tone is an unsightly pale NW20, I love their SFF foundation as a little goes a long way. It blends to perfection leaving pores refined and a smooth matte finish on the skin. It isn't too greasy and doesn't leave residue like some foundations do. It lasts approximately 10 hours for me before touch-ups are required and contains SPF 15.

Warm Soul Mineralize Blush

This blush is just LOVE, especially in Winter and Fall, but I tend to use it all year round. It is a very warm rose colour with subtle hints of gold. It definitely adds a warm glow to your face so if you're a similar foundation shade to me I highly recommend trying this out.

New York haul

Hey dolls,

Hope you're all fabulous and enjoying the last of the weekend.

Just thought I'd do a blog on some items I purchased in New York, I had such an AMAZING time so much so I'm looking in to moving out there (any hints and tips on how to do so then please share)!!

This money has been saved up over time and I throughly enjoyed window shopping on 5th Avenue and hip hopping over to Times Square to see all of the twinkling adverts.

I definitely left my heart in New York City...

This gorgeous top I bought from Forever 21 in Times Square for $19.80 (good value, right). I'm going to pair it with some skinny jeans and peep toe heels.

Now, last but not least; this little beauty I just had to have. The necklace has a Poodle, an Apricot Rose and the Eiffel Tower along with a pearl on it - the reason this is so special to me is I lost my baby poodle in January who was just like a real life baby to me. She was the cutest thing. Also, she was unique because she was an Apricot poodle and they're not too common, so to see something Apricot along with a cutsey poodle it just had to be mine.

In the mood for nude??

Hello poppets...

Just thought I'd do a post on my 3 fave go to nude lipsticks. Now, I have the biggest complex ever about my lips - they're so thin, and deflated so apologies in advance for the grotesque pouting pics!

My favourite of the three is Close to Real which I think has sadly been discontinued (correct me if I'm wrong), coming in at a close 2nd is MAC's Myth... if only the two merged and had a baby it'd be the PERFECT nude! I wish Close to Real was a satin finish as they have a much creamier texture whereas lustres are a bit too opaque for my liking.
