Recessionista vs Fashionista

Hey loves,

Now that there's been a huge hike in taxes it's time to watch those pennies. I've decided to try out some supermarket brands and drug store products in favour of some of our favourite brand products and have to admit I am slightly shocked by the quality of the products... they're actually AMAZING!!

I wanted to trial different products so this week it's my top 3 budget skin care finds:

Topping the list is of course the well know St Moriz 'dark' mousse -
200ml RRP £2.99 from Home Bargains, Quality Save, B&M and other stockists nationwide.

This product was very easy to apply and left me with a gorgeous glow the following morning. The only downside is I did break out three times. On average each bottle lasts approximately 4-5 full body tans.

Whilst perusing the aisles of Tesco this big beauty popped out at me, I'm a sucker for anything sweet and just love cocoa butter scented products so at £1.30 for 400ml it was an absolute bargain, the lotion has a creamy hydrating consistency and isn't too watery or thick like other cheap body lotions. Your skin stays lightly scented all day, I will definitely be re-purchasing.

... Last but not least, is this fabulous moisturiser priced at just £1.99 for 100ml from Morrisons, my skin is oily-combination and I do get the odd breakout every now and again. My skin has never been smoother. It has a subtle tea tree scent and quite a thick consistency.

Thanks for reading, and let me know if you've found any great products.

Hannah xoxo
